Laughsmith Entertainment was formed in September 1992 by filmmakers Paul E. Gierucki and William Hunt. Their first collaborative effort, Stooges: The Men Behind the Mayhem, was one of the most watched, highest rated entries in the popular A&E Biography series.

Since that time, Gierucki and Hunt have each written, produced, directed and consulted on numerous film, television and video productions, both independently and under the Laughsmith banner. Their various works have appeared on The Arts and Entertainment Network (A&E), American Movie Classics (AMC), Cinemax, Home Box Office (HBO), NBC and Turner Classic Movies (TCM).

                         RECENT WORKS:

In 2004 Laughsmith Entertainment revised and expanded Stooges: The Men Behind the Mayhem for a tenth anniversary release. The reissue marked the program's debut on DVD.

In 2005 Laughsmith Entertainment released its critically acclaimed production The Forgotten Films of Roscoe “Fatty” Arbuckle, a 4 DVD collection featuring 32 classic comedy film reconstructions.

2006 saw the release of Industrial Strength Keaton, a two DVD collection featuring 26 rare and recently rediscovered Buster Keaton films, commercials and  TV appearances. 

We are currently preparing for a conversion to High Definition, Blu-Ray and other cutting edge delivery formats.
