Everyone remembers The Little Rascals: Spanky, Darla, Alfalfa, Buckwheat, Porkie, and of course Pete the Pup. However, these wonderful kids were NOT the first actors to star in this classic series.
 
Baby Boomers who grew up watching "The Little Rascals" on television might be surprised to learn that their beloved series was originally called "Our Gang" and that many of the settings, gags, and plots were first created in the 1920's for silent films and then later reworked for sound in the 1930's!

In 1922 producer Hal Roach had an idea for some kid comedies and thought “maybe I can make a dozen of these things before I wear out the idea.” When Our Gang finally ceased production in 1944 it was one of the longest running series in film comedy history.

Finally, over 85 years later, Laughsmith Entertainment is bringing back the original gang:
